Ashton Kutcher attacked online over defending Paterno

Ashton Kutcher will no longer write all his own Tweets, after being attacked over posts he made online.

The actor defended fired Penn State University football coach and alleged paedophile, Joe Paterno, via the social networking site a couple of days ago, and was angrily attacked by other tweeters.

After writing: 'How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste', Ashton was met with responses including: 'F—k you. He covered up child rape you sick geriatric f—k.'

The 33-year-old deleted his original post and apologised, but has released a long-winded letter on his website stating that he will no longer manage his own Twitter account. "While I will continue to express myself through @Aplusk I'm going to turn the management of the feed over to my team at Katalyst Media to ensure the quality of it's content."
