BBC America’s “Primeval” Season 5 is set to stun - Starts tonight (Sat. Nov 12)
Season 5 starts tonight on BBC America, at 6pm PST on Saturdays.
http://www.channelguidemagblog.com/index.php/2011/11/09/bbc-americas-primeval-season-5-is-set-to-stun/

These are good times for sci-fi fans. With the knowledge of our universe expanding and time and space showing an elasticity that, in the past, we could only barely have dreamed, the imaginations of today’s sci-fi writers are fertile with theoretical possibility — regardless of plausibility, of course. Fans of Primeval will get a rich sampling of those possibilities when the series returns to BBC America for Season 5 this Saturday, Nov. 12.

The opening of Primeval‘s new season finds the rips in time — anomalies — opening up across the UK with greater frequency and with further-reaching consequences, allowing ever-more dangerous creatures from the past and the future to mingle in time, and putting all of humanity at risk.

<snip spoilers>

1. Sounds interesting
I've never heard of it but found it on Netflix and just added it to my INstant Queue. I like a good Sci-Fi show.

3. yes, 4 seasons but
remember that BBC shows’s seasons are mostly 8-13 weeks. If you can find a source it will be easy to catch up

4. They've been doing a marathon of past episodes, the new one isn't marked as "new" on the DVR
The season premiere isn't listed as "New" on the DVR,
so I wasn't sure if this was really the new season or not,
and had to look it up.

It also makes it harder to program the DVR,
you can't just tell it to record new episodes only.

6. Abbie's hair reminded me of the old tv show "UFO"
except she didn't have a purple anti-static hair-net on.

7. On Time-Warner, it doesn't show up as "New"
so there's no way to know whether an episode is a re-run or new.
This episode was great!
