Did anyone watch the Woody Allen Documentary on PBS the last two nights?

I thought it was very good. Liked that they did not cover his "relationships" much and spent time on his influences, directing style, etc....

1. Watched last night

I loved that they interviewed Mariel Hemingway and her comments on the break-up scene in Manhattan. I remember the first time I saw that, thinking, damn, she's really crying, isn't she? She explained that her tears came from feeling that an incredible chapter in her life was ending with the end of that film and that scene. Great stuff.

Just not me. Haven't seen one of his movies since he hooked up with his step-daughter.

daughter relationship, as Mia and Woody never lived together.

Around 1980, Allen began a 12-year relationship with actress Mia Farrow, who had leading roles in several of his movies from 1982 to 1992. Farrow and Allen never married and kept separate homes<78> but they adopted two children, Dylan Farrow (who changed her name to Eliza and is now known as Malone) and Moshe Farrow (now known as Moses); they also had one biological child, Satchel Farrow (now known as Ronan Seamus Farrow). Allen did not adopt any of Farrow's other family, including Soon-Yi Farrow Previn (the adopted daughter of Farrow and André Previn, now known as Soon-Yi Previn). While 18 is young, it is still of legal age. Allen and Soon-Yi have been married for 14 years now, since they married in 1997.

4. Saw most of the documentary,

which included a momentary pic of Soon-Yi and kids w Woody on a (NYC?) street. Woody's sister, a frequent contributor to the docu, noted that he's 'very happy.'

I watched most of it and thought it was pretty good.

I don't care what anyone says or thinks, Woody Allen is a very talented man and I've been a fan of his for many years.

I loved his movie "Take the Money and Run" and "Sleeper" is a favorite too. :D
