Anyone know where I can find Ken Burns' Civil War

documentary?I mean cheap...PBS still sells it for almost a hundred bucks.We are teaching our son about the Civil War (home schooling) and can't think of a better program on the subject than Burns' great doc

2. Try Ebay.

You may even be able to get a VHS version really cheap and then transfer it onto DVD if you have a recorder. That is what I do with some things. I have a VHS to DVD recorder because you can get VHS things so cheap right now. Ebay has everything.

That is a great series.

Amazon has them on DVD for around $90.00

If you get it on VHS you can get the whole box set for $40.00

8. Try one of the genealogy book sites.

Like www.willowbendbooks.com they sometimes have CDs on clearance and they have a lot of Civil War Stuff. And go to www.Cyndislist.com she has links to EVERYTHING concerning genealogy and research. there is a section on the Civil War. Check it out you might find something interesting.

...segmented into sixty-eight 10-minute clips. Unfortunately, this only covers the narration and dialogue--the signature soundtrack has been digitally erased and replaced by a continous loop of the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps". Also, instead of Ken Burns' stunning manipulation of antique photographs and maps, you get to watch two 14-year-old girls reenacting the Battle of Vicksburg with their pet hamsters.
