Kill-A-Watt Electric Usage Monitor
As electric bills continue to rise, the ingenious Kill-A-Watt electric usage monitor will tell you exactly how much power your appliances are using, and which ones are costing you more than they should. Plug it in between the outlet and the device to be measured, and it will give you the consumption by the kilowatt-hour (the way utility companies measure it), and lets you calculate your electricity expenses by the day, week, month, or year. You'll be surprised how much power is drawn by those appliances that you've supposedly turned "off" (anything with a remote control or an LCD display, for instance - these are called "phantom loads" or "vampires"), and how much you can save by replacing an old fridge or freezer with a more efficient model.

This is a small handy device that measures approx. 5" x 1.6" x 2.4". Its large, easy-to-read display shows volts, amps, and wattage within 0.2 percent accuracy. It's designed for use with AC 115-volt appliances, and is compatible with inverters.

GO GREEN in two ways: use the Kill-A-Watt to reduce your carbon footprint and do your part to fight global warming - or simply lighten the load on your pocketbook and keep more green for yourself! Also indispensible for anyone going "off-the-grid" using solar or wind power, as you will want to know how much power your appliances are using.

Knowledge is power; order your Kill-A-Watt monitor today and start saving!

$25 plus $8.50 flat rate shipping within the United States.

(Sorry I cannot easily ship these internationally at this time - but if you're really desperate to have one, I can get you one - it just would take longer and cost more in shipping.)

Each additional unit sent to the same address adds only $2.50 to the shipping cost, so consider getting extras for friends and family.

PM me if interested.

1. These are not as effective as some would have you believe
Google the comp.home.automation newsgroup for some honest discussion of it.
