House For Sale- Seattle
One of my best buds has her house for sale so I want to post it here. It's across from a park. My friend is a potter and she used the finished basement as a studio, then as an apt. for her son. I've included a link to the realtor's online tour. hope it works.

2. yeah, she's an artist
so it's got a lot of one-of-a-kind things there...like the tile floor that looks like an oriental rug.

I hope she sells it too. She's moved to CA to be with her mom, who is getting older and all that.

3. Nice! It's pretty close to my idea of a dream home.
I am into mosaics (love the entryway) and stained glass and could use a studio. I like the area, too. Close to Ballard and where my sister lives in Magnolia. Thanks for sharing!

5. I'll tell her your compliments - thanks!

She's too busy right now for hanging out here (with moving, etc.) but she'll come around, I'm sure.

She's a great person and the house has a beautiful moment to go with it. Remember the guy who traded a house in Canada for one red paper clip? My friend was the first person who traded something with him. A goofy ceramic door knob.

edit to finish my thought... and the guy came to her house to make the trade, and took a picture!

6. I love that house!
I live in Florida though. Can't get much farther away.

Give her my compliments and best wishes though. Maybe she should buy one of those saints and put it upside down in the ground. I think it is St. Joseph but not sure. Apparently sales of him are going through the roof, (no pun intended)

Hate 'em--with gas, have more control over the temperature.

8. I cook with gas too
and also don't like electric. the temperatures are truer, and, like you said, when it's off it's off and when you lower the temp it's lowered.

I guess I could get used to cooking with electric again (I'm gonna be moving too sometime soon... I hope... depending on the job world...) and hope I can find a place with at least a few of the things I'd like. I'll be renting, tho, so who knows. I can't afford to buy anything right now.

9. It's a beautiful house
and a great neighborhood, not too far from me, actually. Wish I could afford half a million-plus but I'm lucky to make the rent these days. Good luck to your friend.
