Wanted experienced dairy persons in SW Minnesota
My uncle and his son run a class A dairy farm. The son is recovering from rotator cuff repair and my uncle is suddenly needing heart surgery this week.

I am told that the two of them put in 16 hour days. My cousin's wife works outside the home and my 76 year old Aunt weighs about 100 lbs dripping wet so she is not going to be able to do it by herself.

I know this is a long shot but what the heck.

2. Hi
I have a very good friend who is a professor of Dairy Science at WSU and is also the facility sponsor of the Dairy Club. He has students and graduate students who are clamoring for jobs. I will message his name and email if I can find it. Just mention my name and all will be cool. The best news? He's a great leftie!

3. Try these resources
You can contact your state's local unemployment office -- they might just have some names of people with the skills you need seeking employment.

Possibly the Farm and Ranch Freedom organization might have a suggestion. See their website: http://farmandranchfreedom.org/content/about-us

Other than those, here are some other ideas for people or sites you might contact for suggestions: your agricultural extension service, the nearest agricultural school (college), the leader of any local Future Farmer's organization -- and be sure to post it on any close Craig's List.

Be sure to ask around your community about what other people have done in such circumstances -- pastors, priests, local public officials, doctors, veterinarians, attorneys might have such information.

Keep trying. You never know where help will come from.

Really, best wishes to you and your family members!
