On a good day, I can figure out which end of the brush to dip into the bucket.

Thanks for your interest!

9. Thank you very much
The boys seem to be creative in their mother's footsteps. They haven't yet shown any interest at all in the wire-related arts!

5. Nice stuff, per usual
I'm very tempted. As a Big Pharma Shill I could use that bracelet to beat the auditors into submission...Kidding of course...I do love that particular shade of blue with the beads....

6. I was just talking about you to our Sanofi rep,
you pharma shill :P who by the way barely made it out alive from the cuts that were made.
He told me stories that sounded alot like stuff thrown around here, by his real life neighbors.

:hi:

7. I heard about what Sanofi did.
and the WAY they did it. Terrible. My company did cuts some jobs awhile back but they gave plenty of notice AND pretty decent compensation packages.
This industry isn't recession proof but some companies handle difficulties much better than others.
BTW, I'm not in a department htat has sales reps, but back when I did work with one, we kinda would say bad things about the sales people, too...Scientists vs Sales was always fun.....

13. I've been apprehensive about moving to silver
It's quite pricey, and so far I've found that buyers aren't always eager to pay for the increased cost of materials.

Still, it would yield a very nice product...

I have about three yards of 18 gauge silver wire around here somewhere. That would be enough for a bracelet of this size, I think.

Maybe...

14. what would that run?
PM me if you want - don't get your hopes up, I'm pretty broke right now but I like the design and love silver so...

You might put that in your ad - "available in silver - paid in advance";-)

15. Gorgeous!
I love the textures, and the vivid color of blue makes it a stunning piece. Unfortunately, I have $2 in my wallet.

16. Nice! You do beautiful work.
I've considered selling some of my stuff on Etsy. Is it a hassle to collect taxes, etc.?

My bracelets aren't that elaborate. I mostly just make them to keep myself out of mischief.

19. Nice pieces!
As for taxes, we don't charge them separately. They're worked into the list price and we sort it out on our end.

It's a minor hassle, but it keeps it from being a pain in the butt for shoppers.

18. Thank you for the kind words
Alas, for an aluminum bracelet like this, $20 is about all that the market will bear.

21. 10th anniversary... = aluminum
a woman I work with just celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary and Aluminum (or tin) is one of the traditional 10-year gifts. She had a hard time finding anything suitable for her husband. She ended up buying him some cologne that came in an aluminum or tin bottle. Your work would last forever...

Thanks for the tip--I might just add that info to some of the listings!
