The other day I posted a t-shirt and I received a great suggestion for a design I followed up on listed in the subject line.
http://www.cafepress.com/zombieguv/7787205I had a lot of fun designing them and I think they turned out pretty good. I based them both on Wisconsin based beers whose labels I found on eBay.
The first design was based on an old Weber Waukesha beer label. I believe it has a couple more hours to go on eBay before it is gone if you want to compare the label to my design. Anyways, I put the main slogan in the center of the shirt and then to replicate the writing, I looked up additional slogans used in the Madison protests. These run alongside the ad. The first reads: Bucky Beaver Doesn't Break Up Unions and the second reads: Friends Don't Let Friends Give up The Fight. It also includes the state motto: Forward.
The second one is based on Northern Pale Ale out of Superior Wisconsin. I created two versions of it, one with a diagonal reading of Wisconsin and the other without it. This one was technically more difficult to make because I couldn't find any decent, high resolution maps of Wisconsin so I made my own in GIS software and exported it. The working version of the shirt was 44"by 33" which I reduced to fit on the shirt.
I also created two oval stickers of the slogan

Thanks for looking,
Terry
