Anyone here make "African Butterfly Combs"?

They seems to be marketed primarily to African-Americans, but I find that they hold my thin straight hair very well.


I have a small collection and wear them every day. They have the marvelous quality of making it look like you fussed with your hair, but you can throw them on as easily as a rubberband. I am astonishingly fumble-fingered. I can't tie off the end of a thread, or a balloon..My head would explode if I tried it myself..

They are made with:
2 interlocking hair combs
Elastic cord
Beads


I can buy them with wooden beads, (some of them pretty fancy for about $30 - $50) But I would REALLY like to have some with turquoise beads, or cats-eye beads, or other gemstone-type beads in various colors.

3. They are spectacularly easy to wear, and you can

lie down on them too. I really wish they came in a series of gemstones.
