The Heart of Roses Quilt is an applique design featuring a bouquet of roses shaped into a heart. Each quilt is handmade by a local Amish woman and has a scalloped border. Quilt fits a queen size bed.

This is an original pattern designed (and signed in both embroidery and pen) by Lancaster, PA renowned quilt designer C. Jean Horst. Jean is noted for her fine fabric selections. Fine solid cream white cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 110 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 7 stitches per inch.
