2. Why, thank you!

I'm pretty jazzed about it. My grandmother tried to teach me how to tat and I got as far as being able to make a closed ring with a shuttle but I'm left-handed and grandmother just didn't have the patience to take my instruction any further. So, I put learning off for a few decades until a few years ago when I discovered needle tatting - so much easier! Just the same, I still couldn't get past the ring stage until I decided to hunker down and make myself learn how to do the fancy chains, split rings and other whatnots - now I can't stop tatting!
