Cedar River Clinics seeks a highly motivated, passionate, organized, enthusiastic individual to be Clinic Manager in Yakima. The clinic strives to improve the quality of life for women in Yakima County and Eastern Washington through reproductive health services, advocacy and education.

Responsibilities:
* oversee all clinical, administrative, budgetary and educational functions of Cedar River Clinics-Yakima.
* oversee and ensure the delivery of high quality reproductive health services.
* manage, direct, supervise, hire, train, retain, encourage, support, and evaluate staff members working in the Yakima clinic.
* foster a healthy positive productive work environment.
* maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulation
* utilize and implementing established organizational health and safety procedures and administrative systems.
* provide leadership in support of the organization's mission of client education and participation in their own healthcare.
*nurture relationships with community organizations; promote the organization's mission, vision and values in the community, maintain knowledge of other community resources for clients.
*partner with all interdepartmental staff to accomplish goals.
* assist in the development of the clinic budget; monitor and revise monthly as needed.
* oversee Yakima-based phone counseling/counselors who schedule appointments for all three clinical sites.

* Demonstrated leadership (integrity, collaboration, follow-through, respect)
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability to oversee daily operations of a medical clinic
* Experience with staff recruitment, retention, supervision
* Pro-choice and supportive of women who do choose abortion
* Awareness of social justice and women's rights issues
* Creativity, reliability, flexibility, initiative, self-motivation
* Ability to establish priorities; proven record of making good decisions
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work with a diverse staff and clientele
* Working computer knowledge of Microsoft Office programs as well as medical database.
* Experience in abortion services a plus
* Bi-lingual in Spanish a significant plus.

The Clinic Manager:
* supervises all personnel working within the Yakima Clinic.
* is supervised by the Director of Operations.
* maintains strong working relationships with directors, administrators, physicians, midlevel clinicians, and administrative staff.
* needs to travel to Seattle and Renton periodically for required meetings; is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee.
* oversees, schedules, and approves physical site maintenance, safety and repair.
Cedar River Clinics-Yakima is one of three AAAHC accredited health care facilities operated by the non-profit Feminist Women's Health Center that provide abortion, birth control and women's reproductive health care. The Yakima clinic is located approximately 150 miles east of Seattle and has served a large geographic area of eastern Oregon and Washington since 1980.
Clinical staff and materials are bilingual in Spanish and English. Feminist Women's Health Center is a social change organization that combines direct services (abortion and reproductive health care), with activism (to preserve the right to choose) and community education (to demystify health information and empower health decisions).
