Republicans believe in God - Democrats think they are God
Ann Coulter (bless her heart :eyes: ) said something to that effect the other day on Cspan.

She was obviously trying to stir up trouble.

What would you like to say to her?

She's neither pretty nor a woman. And I'll bet that long hair is just a wig.

10. i believe that i am my own god
and that i create my own reality with my thoughts. this is not a joke. when you believe this, you become responsible for yourself, for those you reproduce, what you leave in your wake. to cause no harm and having the greater good as your guide, all the nonsense falls away and clear thought prevails.

12. projection....

She is becoming the Queen of Hearts in Alice In Wonderland, isn't she?

http://www.sabian.org/alicech12.htm

`Why, there they are!' said the King triumphantly, pointing to the tarts on the table. `Nothing can be clearer than that. Then again--"before she had this fit--" you never had fits, my dear, I think?' he said to the Queen.

`Never!' said the Queen furiously, throwing an inkstand at the Lizard as she spoke. (The unfortunate little Bill had left off writing on his slate with one finger, as he found it made no mark; but he now hastily began again, using the ink, that was trickling down his face, as long as it lasted.)

`Then the words don't fit you,' said the King, looking round the court with a smile. There was a dead silence.

`It's a pun!' the King added in an offended tone, and everybody laughed, `Let the jury consider their verdict,' the King said, for about the twentieth time that day.

`No, no!' said the Queen. `Sentence first--verdict afterwards.'

`Stuff and nonsense!' said Alice loudly. `The idea of having the sentence first!'

`Hold your tongue!' said the Queen, turning purple.

`I won't!' said Alice.

`Off with her head!' the Queen shouted at the top of her voice. Nobody moved.

`Who cares for you?' said Alice, (she had grown to her full size by this time.) `You're nothing but a pack of cards!'

14. Democrats believe in religious freedom, just like God. I understand
her confusion over Democrats beliefs. Republicans say they believe in God, but they in fact worship money, lying and weapons.

15. In a way, she's right.
Republicans (well, fundamentalist Christians, anyway) see themselves as inherently separated from God through sin. Democrats (well, liberal religious people) see themselves as part of God's creation and therefore inherently connected to God. Personally, I think it's healthier psychologically to see the divine in oneself than to see oneself as horribly alienated from God.

Conservative Christians claim to know God in their hearts. However, their "personal relationship with Jesus" isn't knowing God--it's more akin to idol worship. So see the second commandment, Ann.

Democrats know they are God-and that everyone else is God as well, that we are all interconnected, and what effects one effects us all.

21. Absolutely nothing
Like you said, she's just trying to stir up shit. I used to get so angry about some of the things she said. And I'd lurk on her message boards and rail on and on about how she was the anti-Christ.

Now I realize, she wants the attention. The best way to deal with her is to just ignore her. It'll drive her nuts.
