A forum for recovering Christists/believers. Or is this the forum? Is there a need for the transition that so often occurs between being a believer and being an atheist/agnostic? I know it took awhile for me--it wasn't by any means an easy transition.

1. I don't think this is the appropriate forum for that |
|
but I agree it would be a useful forum. I know there are a lot of message boards on the web that deal with that issue.

I think it would be useful to open a forum up for people who left extreme religious groups but not necessarily for only those who are now unbelievers. Certainly unbelievers will out number those who have moderated their religious belief, but I think its important not to isolate those who still have vestiges of religious faith, yet struggle with the mental anguish that comes from leaving extremist or ultra fundamentalist groups.
