heh, I didn't even know there was any such commemoration until today. It certainly seems to me it would be a good opportunity to teach children and everyone about the importance of this basic American value.

1. I find it hard to show enthusiasm for National Religious Freedom Day

It is great for the religious people, but I doubt that we will ever see s National Day For Freedom From Religion .

It seems like just another way to leave the atheists on the outside looking in.

about the dangers of religion. Until the government recognizes my right to NOT believe (according to the dictates of my conscience), the day is meaningless.
