http://instituteforhumancontinuity.org/The above referenced site is sponsoring a "lottery" for housing to survive "2012". It is owned by Sony, who has a movie coming out next year titled, "2012". There are a lot of religious overtones to this proposed scenario.
To enter the "lottery", one enters birth data. And, the TOS states:
CHANGES IN SITE OWNERSHIP
You will be deemed to have consented to the disclosure to, and use by, a subsequent owner or operator of the Site, of any information about you contained in the applicable SPE database, to the extent SPE assigns its rights and obligations regarding such information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of SPE's assets, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or substantially all of the assets related to this particular Site to a subsequent owner or operator. In the event of such a merger, acquisition, or sale, your continued use of the Site signifies your agreement to be bound by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the Site's subsequent owner or operator.
This is a youtube documentary about the site. He mistakenly states that "Sony" is not mentioned on the site. It is clearly stated in the "Terms of Serivce".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDZrdfr19UoI'm wondering how Sony has authority to make such housing offers?
Or, is it all about the movie?
