The problem is contradictory disclaimers, weaselly disclaimers which are a pretense for denying responsibility for something else which is what's truly intended.
To dismiss the entire idea of any kind of disclaimer, however, is absurd. Real world issues tend to be complex. Even when what you have to say is simple, plenty of people who read or hear what you say will willfully or ignorantly take your words the wrong way. Often disclaimers are necessary (for as much good as it does with these kinds of idiots) to try to counteract anticipated distortions and misinterpretation of things you say.
To disparage disclaimers of all kinds is to encourage the kind of discussion where ideas are reduced to bumper sticker oversimplification.
PS: You aren't going to get much traction in a liberal forum using language that sounds sexist, like talking about what "real men" do and don't do.
