God and the Devil are watching a man walk through the desert.
The mans stoops down and picks up a piece of Truth and puts it in his pocket.

God says to the Devil, "Look, he found the Truth! Tough luck for you. Now what are you going to do?" The Devil relies, "No problem, my friend. I'm just going to help him organize it..."

1. Wasn't God the one who got all pissy when Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge?
I think your story would make more sense if you reversed the roles.

2. I don't actually see a difference between any of the characters in the story

God, Devil and Man are all similarly non-existent. Feel free to swap them around as you wish.
