Buffalo Bills Steve Johnson Blames (and Thanks) God after dropped pass
Buffalo Bills receiver Steve Johnson was inconsolable after dropping an easy game-winning catch against the Steelers on Sunday (Scroll down to see the play).

After the game, the poor guy tried to talk about the painful blunder.

"How would you feel?" Johnson said. "All of a sudden, when the biggest play needs to be made, you don't make it. You feel bad. I'm devastated right now."

"I had the game in my hands and then dropped it," Johnson said. "I'll never get over it. Ever."

2. When things work out for you, it's God's doing
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 11:06 AM by rocktivity
When things don't, the fault is either yours or Satan's? That's a crummy deal no matter how you slice it--and that's why I think Johnson is in the right.

Johnson would be thanking God up one side and down the other if he'd made that catch, and the world would have approved. So why shouldn't Johnson have bawled God out for, well, dropping the ball? It was one of five passes Johnson dropped that day--it's a safe bet that he got bawled out by his OTHER coach!

 (if you'll pardon the smiley)

6. God was busy watching reruns
of the 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994 super bowl games on ESPN Classic, and missed Johnson's prayer.
