Let's talk about monks and nuns
Would it be possible to reduce the unemployment rate by persuading more people to become nuns or monks? Would it be possible to at least reduce the reliance on guest workers and the reliance on "undocumented" workers?

With modern methods of sterilization that don't require elimination of the sex drive, would it be possible for there to be a new kind of monk or nun?

Most of the time, I think your posts require, uh, psychedelic enhancements to "get", but this? Well, this is just nonsense, IMO. YMMV.

4. Unintended consequences often occur. They can be good, bad, or neutral.
When the stone age came to an end because people were working with metals and trying to extract metal from the Earth, how many people could foresee the can opener?

3. I love Boojatta posts...............
By the way, I've had a vasectomy. I contemplated being a monk but my horniness got in the way.

5. A long time ago a friend
thought of a money making scheme for monks and nuns- selling used underwear in the back of certain 'gentleman's' magazines. She figured there had to be a fetish for it somewhere.

Seriously though, The problems with monk or nunhood involve vows of celebacy and religious vocation, two things many people lack. However, there are actually several religious organizations operating currently who should have their foreign religious worker visas highly scrutinized, often using them as a backdoor for bringing in cheap labor that is usually exploited and basically enslaved here in the states and in other locations around the world.
