Shaming Mother Teresa - India
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 10:43 PM by Vehl
http://youtu.be/30XdrOLT7J4

A young girl holds out her hand -- horribly scarred when a senior nun applied a red hot knife as a punishment for misbehavior. Allegations of child abuse and neglect are surfacing along with serious questions about the administration of the charity's vast pool of donated money.

A volunteer claims she witnessed mistreatment: "I've seen smacking... yanking around babies by their arms, letting their heads wobble." In a rare interview Mother Teresa's successor, Sister Nirmala, defends the mission but says she has no idea how much money it has "No-body knows -- it's God's maths". Critics argue that funds go to religious campaigns rather than poverty relief. Meanwhile, one of Mother Teresa's many supporters defends her legacy: "She is in the hearts of most people a saint..."

Produced by ABC Australia
Distributed by Journeyman Pictures

Check 6.20 , four seven year old children branded with a heated knife by a sister in Mother Teresa's mission because they were suspected of theft. And what gobsmacked me was the head of the Mother-Teresa Mission's statement

She admitted to the charges and claims its a work of "god"
..
..
"we accept it as god's goodness(???) to us..to remind us, remember who you are serving"

:puke:

Why is this woman not behind bars for aiding and abetting Horrid Child Abuse?

Also according to this ABC documentary, Mother Teresa accepted money for her charity from anything who was willing to give, regardless of their origin or the origin of the money. Millions came from Dictators and criminals, including Charles Keating(key fraudster in the 1990s insurance and savings scandal, who donated 1.2 million in stolen money to Teresa's Charity). When asked to return the stolen money gifted to the charity, Mother Teresa refused to do so.

When asked how much money this wealthy charity owns, the answer given by the head of the charity is "nobody knows, god knows"

Hopefully one day people would come to see evangelism/missionary activity in the same light they see the KKK's notions of racial superiority. Both posit that one is better than the other and do not/should not have any place in civilized society.

2. more on "saintly" Mother Teresa:
http://www.ahealedplanet.net/racket.htm

She separated dying people from their families, and made them die in a death house. For this alone she should be damned.

6. Thank you for the link
Seems to me that a lot of those who work in her "Charities" need to be tried for child abuse, mistreatment of victims and misappropriation of funds.

5. Excellent Video

Its heartbreaking to see so many people suffer and die under her "care"..for the want of simple preventive measures...like sterilizing needles in boiling water (instead of washing them in cold water) before reusing them. Her status as a "saint" as Hitchen's correctly points out, is due to media hype alone.

In fact one could say(as Hitchen's puts it) that she uses the poor and downtrodden of the society as cannon fodder to further her ultimate goal, that of conversion.

4. Christopher Hitchens exposed this years ago in "The Missionary Position".
Billions of dollars in Swiss bank accounts, no money for patients and medical care, no money even for the nuns for their own simple needs, according to the chief accountant nun for Mo. T., and many other people he interviewed.

7. "Jesus is kissing you," she
told a man suffering from cancer. He replied "Then I wish he would stop." A chuckling Mother Teresa told this story to reporters. It amused her. She insisted that pain was good for the soul.

A cousin of mine, who is a beautiful person inside and out, was a nun in India and still to this day has nothing but scorn for Mother Teresa. MT was not loved by all Indians, including Catholic nuns.

My cousin and other family members at a Himalyan convent:

10. Almost as if they had a global organization sitting on untold billions in assets helping them.
Such an organization would also have to have a history of covering up heinous crimes and protecting the perpetrators from secular punishment.

I can't imagine any such organization exists, can you?

19. LOL!!!!!
I transpose your question and ask it to my MIL, who is a hardcore Catholic

"You've been to the Vatican, right"

"Oh yes!"

"And what did it look like?"

"Oh beautiful! Halls of marble and gold leaf, ceilings several stories high, and beautiful paintings all along the walls! It gives me a taste of what heaven will be like!"

"So - knowing this, why do you send your money to them? It sounds as if they have enough money, you know..."

16. Cos the government wont touch this for the fear of being not seen as being "secular" enough
Edited on Mon Aug-01-11 12:21 PM by Vehl
India bends over backwards to cater to its minorities. Even though Christians make up only 2% of its overall population, the government would not even comment on this issue..let alone investigate it lest they are accused of being "not secular". Ironic how India tries to pander to the minority wishes while America seems to be going in the exact opposite direction.

It makes me want to puke that Nirmala, the one who openly claimed(on camera) that branding Children with hot knives is the will of god and a form of his "love for us" for this award.

Half such problems will be gone when the stupid and spineless Congress government is voted out of office in the next election (as it most probably will).

13. Mother Teresa is a perfect example of how religion can make a monster look like a saint.
She was a horrible person.
