This is not a poll. What do the Big Dog, Dim Son, and Big Ben have in common?
1. William Jefferson Clinton smoked dope. (However, he didn't inhale.)

2. During his term in the White House, George W. Bush was a dope. (He remains one today.)

3. In some dialects of the English language, the word "Pope" rhymes with the word "dope."

Now, I must warn against a serious error.

It is simply a fact that President Obama, before he became President of the USA, wrote a book
entitled The Audacity of Hope. Furthermore, in some dialects of the English language,
the word "hope" rhymes with the word "Pope." However, the above information cannot be combined
to conclude that there is any connection, direct or indirect, between Pope Benedict and the
concept of audacity. He's a leader, but he falls short in the boldness department.
Audacity he ain't got.

That's merely my opinion. You may disagree. Feel free to reply to this message to express your
point of view.

1. I am glad to know that
Seeing a connection between things because you could find something about them that rhymes would be silly.

3. I don't know about the Pope.
I'm assuming that he is a straight man who doesn't have sex, wears gowns, and tells other people how to conduct their sex lives. That is pretty audacious.

4. It would be audacious
for another straight man. For the Pope, it is simply conformity to papal precedent.

7. Should we strive to leave little to the imagination?
If you make it easy for imaginative people to imagine things, then the things that they imagine may require that some blame go somewhere. If the blame is assigned to a thread, then that thread might be locked.
