Were it not for the good work of Deists in the transition from British governmental control over the territory where the USA is now geographically positioned, there might have been no such transition, or there might have been a transition to a government like the one in Haiti.

Of course, the denomination of Christianity that has its headquarters in the nation-state of Vatican City is exempt, having not started in the USA. By avoiding this money cost, the Vatican City church should be able to afford the cost of equipping each of its priests (especially those residing near a deep body of water) with rope and a millstone.
