If you go door to door asking for freebies, you get what you get.
Do like any responsible parent and investigate before you turn it loose to the kids.
However,if the packaging on a bag of candy offends you, just be glad it wasn't something from those folks who like to slip razor blades and other goodies into things. Don't let me stop a good anti-religious intolerance rant though, go ahead!

I mean, nearly 40 years ago when I was Trick-or-Treating, those same rumors were floating around.

Has that ever REALLY happened? Were there so many instances of it actually happening that there was an actual RISK of it happening to me, or you? I think its just all urban legend.
