Watching Carl as a child and reading his books as I grew older is one of the main reasons for my disbelief. Thank you Carl. The world is a better place because of you.

2. He sparked my interest in science.

Until Sagan, science was kind of a dead subject to me. Kind of like studying Latin. Sagan brought science to life for me.

I might disagree with some of his philosophical positions but his enthusiasm was just so contagious.
