Kansas City Bishop Makes Deal To Avoid Charges
"Robert W. Finn, bishop of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, has made a deal with authorities to avoid a second round of criminal charges in response to an indictment of failure to report a priest accused of taking pornographic pictures of girls. Finn will “meet monthly with a county prosecutor to detail every suspicious episode involving abuse of a child in his diocese for the next five years,” The New York Times reports."

Now tell me how would this person have been treated if he were an atheist.

1. The better question might be "how would he be treated was he not a Catholic priest?"

2. Indeed. Can the Sandusky defendants get this deal for not reporting?

5. Definitely a better question. Sorry, I haven't had enough coffee yet to
be thinking that his magic Canonical robes were what keeps him from being prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

6. Only those guys in prison believe that! Jesus comes to those in prison
not in their Bishop's vestments.

7. The kiddie porn priest guy, Father Ratigan, pretended to text message at the families dinner table
but Father Ratigan was actually snapping photo's of their little girl under the table with his cell phone camera. The family had invited the priest over for dinner because they felt sorry for him because they thought he had just survived a close call accidental carbon monoxide poisoning incident. Parishioners, which included the family who brought this latest law suit, were told to pray for Father Ratigan, but they were not told that Father Ratigan had attempted suicide after being caught with thousands of images of kiddie porn on his computer. Dog.
