Occupy L.A.: The Elders Speak

This Sunday, November 20 at City Hall, Occupy L.A will hold "The Elders Speak," featuring speakers James Lawson, Dolores Huerta, Malcolm Boyd, George Regas, Maher Hathout and Leonard Beerman. In our conversations with the Occupy L.A. organizers it is clear that they would welcome hearing from those who have been guiding lights for earlier social justice movements. This array of Giants of Justice will be historic as they speak from the steps of City Hall imparting guidance and hope. Let's go out in support.

5. Did I say that? I asked the OP if there was a point. Why is it verbotten to ask that?
I would like to know why it was chosen to be posted. I'm not a mind reader, and I know of no "other way of knowing" that will enlighten me as to what the point was.

Geesh.

7. I agree.
Without comment, it's difficult to see why this was posted in R/T instead of someplace like LBN...

8. I suspect it's because the list of "elders"...
Features a lot "Rev." titles and other religious affiliations, to show us (when conveniently isolated from conflicting data) how important a force for good religion is in this world.
