National sleep late day.

Do whatever you want day.

Apologize to your children for lying about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Jesus day.

Have your car smog-tested day.

Sit around and drink beer with friends day.

First Amendment day.

Nod thoughtfully while disbelieving stuff day.

6. My parents visited India many years ago...
and commented that, due to India being one of the most multi-faith countries, every other day seemed to be a holiday: Hindu, Muslim, Christian or National! I don't know if this is still the case.

7. In the UK, we have several holidays simply called 'Bank Holidays'
And no, they're not the days when we go down on our knees to the bankers. We do that on the other days of the year.
