2. “He has a special place full of fire,
and smoke, and burning, and torture, and anguish, where he will send you to live, and suffer, and burn, and choke, and scream, and cry, for ever, and ever, to the end of time…...but he loves you, he loves you, he loves you AND HE NEEDS MONEY!, HE ALLWAYS NEEDS MONEY! He’s all powerful, all perfect, all knowing, and all wise…somehow, he just cant handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and somehow they always need more. Now, you talk about a good bullsh#t story“…lol

3. Hey 400Years, you're an asshole and a thief
Just kidding. Though your links no longer work, and there's a message in its place telling us to call you an asshole and a thief. :) Geez, you'd think someone hosting Carlin clips would be less of a tool.

5. Yeah, especially for someone who says on his home page that
"The Web should be free." Which is also weird because he has a link to Google Answers, where for a fee, you can have a question answered.

7. Humility.
HUMILITY is the queen of graces. It does not seek the throne of eminence, but the throne is adroned by it.

In this fellowship week, let us learn humility.

Quote:
Phil 2: 3 nothing through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Quote:
Micah 6; 8 He has shown you, O man, what good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Where you and I learn humility ?
Quote:
Mt 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Humility a Badge of obedience,
Quote:
I Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

We only know the mightiness of God's hand when we lie low beneath of it.
Quote:
James 4: 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

Humility is recognised by men , admired by angels and appreciated by God.
Quote:
Phil 2; 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.

Are we robbing God?

Humility is the best key to unlock the heavenly treasures.
Quote:
Isaiah 66:1 Thus says the LORD: "Heaven My throne, And earth My footstool. Where the house that you will build Me? And where the place of My rest?

Are we stealing from God?

Spiritual pride is dangerous and leads to spiritual adultery.
Quote:
Isaiah 40: 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

8. What makes you think that I wanted Biblical quotations..
huranged at me??? I simply stated that I agree with George Carlin's outlook.
Did I even mention Christianity in this statement?
What make one assume I was soliciting for Bible lessons???
There's NO chance of Christian recruitment or conversion to/from me.
I am a nonbeliever.....and IF I became one, it would not be attached to any form of Christianity.

9. Humility
is a great thing...in a person to person sense. Humility has been used by religions for centuries meaning "to bow down" before a being...superior to the human race. I am not a subscriber to this type of ancient way of thinking.

10. Congratulations!
You did battle with Satan today.

Run back to your church and tell your pastor that you fought the evil prince of darkness by quoting the bible on an Internet message board.

Well done, Christian Soldier! I'm sure you are changing the world with your love of Christ!

12. Hell even jesus wasn't humble
In fact only about 10 percent of the Jesus lines were about love....the rest was him braggin about himself, telling other people to get in line, and telling not-so-nice parables. How can you preach humbleness but then turn around and tell people your the shit and to bow before your glory.

Even that washing the feet of beggars stuff is false modesty.....oohhh look at how good I am, look how much better I am than you. Do you think he washed feet when no one else was looking? I doubt it.

God is an asshole and the seed didn't fall far from the tree.
