9. The daddy looks cool.
I find the little thing surprisingly irritating, though I can't put a finger on it.

Don't mind me :hi:

10. We
(DU atheists), have her in our sig line in tribute to an exceptionally brilliant individual who posts here no more.

Hello Cthulu was her avatar.

14. Oh, I see.
I wish I could stop my eyes from fixating on it - it's quite disturbing to me - sorry. :(

3. I laughed when I saw this map
I live in Arkansas, and just went to a Dowsers/Healers convention this weekend, also in Arkansas. There are a lot of folks in AR, OK, MO, and TX that are anything BUT fundamentalist Christians. Even in Springfield MO, the home of John Ashcroft, there are two Unity churches. Unity Village, which I believe is their headquarters, is just outside St. Louis. And I know of at least one Hindu Ashram not that far from Springfield. Near Talequah, OK, is Sancta Sophia Seminary, a New Thought institute. In these states as well as TX, there are many many Native peoples who are conducting Lakota/Dakota/Nakota ceremonies. And the Dances of Universal Peace are done in these states as well.

8. Oh yeah
But they haven't stopped us Dancing in town the first Saturday of every month. We send out loving energy to all peoples, including them, that their eyes may be opened.

11. You may have more baptist churches but more methodist
members. Where I grew up we only had two methodist churches and about 15 baptist churches - both methodist churches had congregations over 2000 and all the baptist churches had congregations smaller than 100.

16. Uh huh
My state sits directly on top of the Bible Belt. Although we aren't a direct part of the lunacy, we have enough of the "imports" to make life unpleasant for anyone who isn't a thumper.
