His brother couldn't believe that he was elected for that reason. He will die soon if he follows statistical norms. Maybe I at the age of 55 will live long enough to see a change in the direction of the Catholic church. I doubt it though. There was a change comming in the 1970's but the last guy that JPII killed it big time.
