Tim Tebow out for the game |
|
He really got his bell rung. Blitzer came in leading with his helmet and hit him in the face mask. Tebow laid motionless on the field for a few minutes, but now is on the sideline with a dazed look in his eyes.

1. My daughter (freshman at UF) texted me... |
|
..."did something happen to Timmy?"
I thought she meant my brother in California.

2. From yahoo sports: Tebow knocked out with head injury |
|
"Tim Tebow was taken to a hospital by ambulance after a hard hit to the head in the third quarter of No. 1 Florida’s game against Kentucky on Saturday night.
There was no immediate report on the quarterback’s condition.
The Gators were in Kentucky territory when Tebow took a big hit from Kentucky defensive end Taylor Wyndham. Tebow’s head hit the leg of Florida right tackle Marcus Gilbert as he fell to the ground. He lay motionless for several minutes before sitting up. He walked off the field with help to the bench, where his parents came down from the stands to join him.
As Tebow was being carted from the sideline, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner appeared to be vomiting."

4. Vomiting is one of the symptoms of a concussion |
|
There was a good reason they took him to the hospital. Let's just hope the people in Florida are smart enough to allow his brain enough time to heal.

5. I don't think the people of Florida are smart |
|
It sounds like Tebow has H1N1 which if true made it irresponsible for him to travel and play ( infecting others) and the fact that it's his age group that H1N1 is fairly dangerous too.

listen to what...........you "think." Yes. They're not smart, like you. He didn't have the flu..... even if you think he did.

12. When I saw the hit, I screamed "YEAH" |
|
and then realized that it was kind of a fucked up thing to say. Even if I am a sooners fan. Concussions are really serious--if he'd injured his shoulder, I probably could have been happy. But not a concussion.
