Giants game plan is all wrong |
|
Already down 14 points they're never going to match up in shoot out. They need to keep the ball out of Brees hands, they need to keep the ball in bounds and eat up clock.
2 third and short and 2x they go deep - this has disaster written all over it.

1. Eli Manning scored 0.48 pts for me (fantasy) for the 1st qtr |
|
I wanted to watch the Saints and Giants but there is no games on Fox for the 10am slot so I'm watching Favre burn the Ravens D on CBS.

20-3 Saints (Carney miss XP)
Edit/ I'm seriously confused about a lot of things.

5. Vikings D just absolutely collapsed |
|
Now the ball is in Favre's hands with 3:37 left.

3. Why no change of possession |
|
wasn't the personal foul after the pass had been thrown, which was an interception? Not that I'm complaining.

6. that assumes there was a game plan |
|
they just didn't play well today in any phase. It happens once a year.

10. No, no... I just remember the game because of where I was, |
|
and because N.Y. was undefeated and heavily favored.

9. Just a bad game all-around. |
|
G-Men will be ok, though. One loss don't make a season. I wish they played a bit better, but what are you going to do? It's a long year. Props to NO, they played well.

11. The problem was the Giants first half defense failed to put pressure on DB |
|
bad officiating, too many Giants defensive injures (3 starters out, or 4 if you count Phillips on IR) and just a bad day all the way around.
