The San Francisco 49'ers finish the season in an impressive fashion under the expert tutelage of Mike Singletary after demolishing a second consecutive NFC foe. Last week it was the mighty Lions and this week it was the equally tough Cardinals. After the completion of the season, Mike Singletary, thanked the fans (one from Sacramento and another who has kept his loyalty after moving to the Pacific NW), and noted that the 49'ers were stuck having to play the 29th most difficult schedule in the NFL which led to their demise.
