though they probably should have won by a lot more, it was a good win nonetheless. The Big Ten will go back to sucking next year.

I don't understand teams such as GT that rely only on the running game. Then they get stuffed by a team with a stout run defense like the Hawkeyes and they have no options.

2. I knew if you gave Norm Parker (our DC) a month, Upton, he'd devise a plan.

We should have won by a lot more. But that's the way the years been. Expect nothing less than the National Championship next year from the Big Ten. I've been telling you this deal runs in cycles. Our turn. The Big Ten: America's Premier Football Conference- again!

5. A cycle is much more than one year

I consider the 2009/2010 bowl season to be an anomaly more than anything else. Things will return to their normal state (Pac-10 up, Big Ten down) next year.

CMU just took the lead. Not a bad game. Of course, Happy and I are reliving last nights big victory over GT. Over some good scotch.

18. I have to say that this has been the best Bowl season I can recall.

Some great games involving the non-BCS teams. Awesome.

19. What a game!

I turned the game on with 8 minutes to go in the 4th and was treated to Central Michigan storming back to take the lead, only to have Troy State tie with less a minute to go and send the game to OT. The 2 OTs were fun to watch too.

I was pulling for Larry "Keep it down home cuz" Blakeney's team, but without any deep allegiance. In the end, that was another good game to watch.
