after the game, all the phones went out in my area. I don't know if they went out in the city, but relatives in other parts of the state also reported phone outages.

23. I noticed that also.
I'm a New Orleans native but now live in Mississippi. Immediately after the game, I tried calling my sister in Metairie. All I got was a loud buzzing noise.

25. We were out for at least a half hour.
I know Laplace was out also.

I had a call from Seattle about a minute before the field goal. I tried to call them back after the field goal and zip. So, I know for a fact the phones were working just before the final play. It was the wierdest thing.
