Coach Gary Patterson has taken the TCU Horned Frogs into the spotlight, and the nation shouldn't have any trouble monitoring the team as they'll open the 2010 season at Cowboys Stadium and will have two nationally televised games in September.
After months of speculation, the Horned Frogs will open their 2010 campaign against the Oregon State Beavers on Sat., Sept 4. The game will be held at the Dallas Cowboys' 80,000-seat stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be broadcast nationally at 7:45 p.m. ET on ESPN.
It will be the first meeting between the schools. TCU, which earned an at-large BCS bid to the Fiesta Bowl last season, won the Mountain West Conference championship with a 12-1 record. Patterson boasts an 83-27 record since taking over as the program's coach in 2000.
TCU normally plays its games at Amon G. Carter Stadium, which seats 44,008. The Horned Frogs broke the stadium's attendance record last season by drawing 50,407 for their matchup against Utah.
