Kurt Warner to appear on "Dancing with the Stars"

ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is enjoying the view from its position of stability and strength. The show, which beat "Idol" in the weekly ratings several times this past season, has just cast retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner to be among next season's competitors, a source with knowledge of the casting tells Lisa de Moraes of the Washington Post.

Warner will be the first NFL quarterback to appear on the show.

The official lineup will be announced by ABC on August 30.

5. Oh, haven't you heard? Favre denies he told anyone he was going to retire

and says he still hasn't quite recovered from his ankle surgery. Why he had it less than two months before the pre-season, I have no idea--unless he deliberately TIMED the surgery so he COULD sit out the pre-season!
