Uh oh, looks like old CarGo got himself involved in another record..one he'd probably rather not be a part of.

1. What? Not as many as Tom Seaver (10) or Roger Clemens?
Who cares? The number struck out in a game is far more important.

Nice start by Jimenez today, BTW. I heard he was awesome.

3. You sure cared about records
when the Rockies had 11 hits in a row last week. Of course, that was versus the Cubs...and as the Rox know all too well, having to face Giants pitching is a whole different issue.

Btw..how do you like it down in third place?

4. That was a major leage record, not just a record for The Small Men.

And who is going to win the NL batting title? It's neck and neck between Cargo and Votto. Oh, Huff is there somewhere.

7. Lets take a look..
Huff leads CarGo in OPS (.952-.915) and is smoking him in the total value stat of WAR (4.3-3.0). At this point, in the first week of August, Aubrey is a bona fide MVP candidate... CarGo is not.
