With 315,000 tickets sold, 600,000 original goal, my little sweet city will be swamped. The economy has slowed sales of tickets to people from all over the planet, nonetheless, it will have a huge impact on Lexington & KY. This gig is 16 days long, starting on 25 September through 10 October. The Saturday that will be the weirdest will be 9 October, that day will have horse racing at Keeneland, WEG @ Horse Park, and Auburn comes to town to get their asses kicked two years in a row by UK football. I am in restaurant biz and expect to have my ass handed to me. Looking forward to this event and all it brings, it is the Horse Olympics. The last time we had this kind of exposure was 1985 when Villanova upset mighty Georgetown in Rupp Arena. Hope we represent well to the world.
