The Washington Post:
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was involved in a car accident early this morning in Boston's Back Bay section.
Brady reportedly was "shaken" but declined treatment, according to WEEI-AM Radio, at the scene (see WHDH video here) and headed for Gillette Stadium.
The two-car accident, which occurred at about 6:34 a.m., involved an Audi sedan driven by Brady, law enforcement sources told the Boston Globe, and a minivan. A passenger in the van was unconscious, removed via the jaws of live and taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, police said. Sources tell WHDH-TV that the minivan ran a red light and struck Brady's car at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street.
One witness told the Globe that Brady "looked a little shook up, shaking his hands." He went into an ambulance and a few minutes later was picked up by someone in a Jeep Cherokee and drove off. WEEI reported that Brady was believed to be seeing New England Patriots medical personnel.
