1. I want to know why Bob Costas is still on television
Wasn't he deemed obsolete last century?

4. I really think those two are the worst duo
Edited on Fri Sep-10-10 11:47 AM by JonLP24
I can't decide between them or Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Actually Aikman doesn't bother me, it is Joe Buck I can't stand!!

7. Really?
I like Herbie.

However I do get tired of his voice when I play NCAA Football '09. He and Lee Corso say the same damn shit over and over but Lee is entertaining.

"I haven't seen 4 scores like that since Abraham Lincoln"

I wish there was more that I could remember. I can't find a website for video game quotes. A couple of things he does say a lot are this.

Kirk: Anytime you're near the goaline you gota give the ball to this guy. He's money!

Lee: You mean he's an A-T-M; Automatic Touchdown Machine!

"I haven't seen moves like that since my high school prom sweetheart"

"Baby, I'm always excited."

I think he gets real funny when either me or the computer is getting blown out.

5. They really don't know how to book bands for violent sports, do they?
Taylor Swift is cute and all, and she seems like a real nice kid, but they should really kick off the season with death metal or thrash. You know, get the juices flowing. When I got home from work, my 80 yr old dad, who had been watching the pregame, told me, "I hope that Dave Matthews guy doesn't give up his day job."

Too late, Dad. Too late.

10. Green Day is kicking off Monday Night Football...
at New Meadowlands Jets Stadium.
Well, playing at half-time, not really "kicking-off."

14. The worst/funniest was Sheryl Crow at a Steelers playoff game
They were losing at halftime (they eventually lost the game) and she came out and said, "How y'all doing Pittsburgh, on this fine sunny day?" and was met by about sixty-thousand stony, silent, glares.

I still remember how funny that was. Sheryl! They're LOSING! They're doing CRAPPY!
