Alex Smith sucks
Edited on Sun Sep-12-10 04:52 PM by Auggie
No touch. Telegraphs his throws. Can't move. Can't run. Can't win.

1. I was going to argue, then I looked up just as he threw a pick.

3. is that news
all the talk about the Niners being a top flight team was silly. You can't be a top team without a top QB.

4. Alex Smith Sucks
Completely agree. Six years! Why do they keep him? Al Davis sucks too...too bad he won't sell the Raiders.

5. I hate the Seahawks
but it was nice to see former USC standout Mike Williams get a TD.

Sorry about the game. That dropped on 4th down which was a potential TD hurt him. That is the best I can say.

6. Congrats on the victories
10 in a row... Holy Toledo

Sounds like a nice day for former Browns Derek Anderson as well.

7. I resent that remark.
Alex Smith blows. I mean, Jebus, this is his frickin' contract year! And he was playing a team that (like Oakland) has never recovered from its Super Bowl loss. :eyes:

Hope he knows some French. Bonjour, CFL! :sarcasm:

11. Alex sucks all right..
he has no confidence out there..you can see it. If his lack of confidence is projecting through a TV screen, how obvious must it be on the field?

He also has no football sense. On the first int, he could easily have run for the first down, meaning the first half would have ended no worse than 7-6,... but instead, just before crossing the line of scrimmage, he winds up and throws a 90 MPH 3 yard fastball at a shocked Crabtree. Which of course bounced off him for the TD setting up pick.

Alex was directly responsible for two of the Seahawks TDs. Plus he overthrew a wide open receiver in the end zone. That's a difference of 21 points right there..I just don't understand why the 49ers continue this charade.

16. Mistakes
Another INT. Risky throws. Telegraphed throws. And inability to (how else to say it?) allowing a win to happen.

20. Nate Clements sucks too..
bad enough he fumbled, but even if he had scored after the int, the 49ers would have been up by only 8..still giving the Falcons another chance.

22. Nate so fucked up...
a simple knee to the ground or running out-of-bounds would have sufficed.
