I found this from a link my sister sent me years ago. SEC officials had to take this test. The average score was 93%. I'll post the link to the answers later.

Notes: B-45 refers to Team B's 45-yard line. A56 is the player on Team A who wears number 56.



PART I (15 Questions)

Instructions
Answer each question by giving THESE FOUR ITEMS of information for the next time the ball is to be put in play:

Team in possession
Down and distance (or FK or Try)
Yard line of succeeding spot
Game clock status (Ready/ Snap/ Running/ No Clock)

Each of these four items is worth one point on each question---a total of 60 points available on Part I.

1. Team A punts on fourth and seven at the B-45. B63 clips at the B-32 while the punt is in the air. Punt receiver B21 catches the kick in his own end zone and retreats across the end line.

2. Third and seven at the A-30. Eligible receiver A88 is airborne when he receives a forward pass near the sideline. He comes to the ground with one foot in bounds, and his next step takes him out of bounds at the A-39. The game clock is stopped with 2:37 in the second quarter.

3. Third and Goal at the B-3. QB A10 fumbles at the B-2 and the ball rolls into the end zone. B51 recovers in the end zone. He attempts to run the ball out but is tackled in the end zone, the ball never coming into the field of play. During B51's run B83 clips at the B-6.

4. Fourth and 10 at the A-5. Punter A27 is standing in his end zone when he punts. The ball crosses the neutral zone and at the A-9 it strikes B38 in the helmet. The ball then rebounds back into Team A's end zone, where A27 recovers it while grounded.

5. Second and four at the B-13. A12 throws a pass toward eligible A82 who is in the end zone. As B31 cuts in front of him to intercept the pass, A82 shoves B31 aside. The ball glances off A82's hands. B28 intercepts the ball in the end zone and carries to the B-6 where he fumbles. A70 recovers while grounded at the B-5. B49 then piles on A70 after the ball is dead.

6. Third and 10 at the A-45. A88 catches a forward pass and fumbles at the B-44. Teammate A63 recovers the ball and is tackled at the B-40. During the pass, B70 is flagged for roughing the passer.

7. Fourth and eight at the B-38. Team A has only six men on the line of scrimmage at the snap. B41 signals for a fair catch of the punt at the B-12 and lets the ball go over his head. The ball hits at the B-6 and B18 recovers at the B-3 where the ball is blown dead.

8. First and 10 at the A-40. B41 intercepts a forward pass at the B-32 and runs to the A-20 where he fumbles when A78 pulls and twists his facemask. During the fumble B34 clips at the A-30. A55 recovers the fumble while grounded at the A-16.

9. Fourth and four at the B-10. B77 is in the neutral zone at the snap but does not make contact. The ball carrier is tackled inbounds at the B-7.

10. On the try at the B-3, B25 intercepts a forward pass in the end zone and returns to the B-15 where he is tackled. During the return B66 clips in the end zone.

11. Fourth and 10 at the A-40. The punt crosses the neutral zone and A34 is the first to touch the ball at the B-15. B23 recovers at the B-17 and carries the ball to the B-21 where he fumbles. During the fumble B92 holds A46 at the B-18. A37 recovers the ball at the B-20 and returns it across Team B's goal line.

12. Second and seven at the A-33. Back A34 takes a handoff and runs toward the right sideline. Right end A88, who was six yards from the snapper at the snap, takes a step to his right and then turns and blocks B98 in front below the waist toward the original position of the ball. Right guard A66 and right tackle A77 block end B95 with a delayed low-low block on their initial charge. Runner A34 turns the corner and advances to the A-36 where B43 grabs and releases his face mask (no twist, turn or pull) before bringing him down at the A-38.

13. Team A kicks off at its 30-yard line. The untouched kick goes out of bounds at the B-10. Team B elects not to have the ball re-kicked but chooses the penalty option that gives them the best field position.

14. Third and seven at the B-35. A12's forward pass is headed for eligible A88 at the B-10. Defender B21 plays through A88 to try to prevent him from catching the ball, and the back judge correctly drops his flag for defensive pass interference. However, A88 completes the catch and carries the ball across Team B's goal line.

15. Fourth and eight at the A-20. The untouched punt is rolling beyond the neutral zone when B47 clips at the A-38. A80 touches the ball at the B-49 and B23 recovers while grounded at the B-45.

PART II. Multiple Choice (8 questions)

Instructions For each of the following play situations, select the correct answer. Note: there is only ONE CORRECT answer for each. (5 Points each)

16. First and 10 at the A-40 late in the second quarter. Ball carrier A20 circles right end and is driven out of bounds at the A-49. During the run A65 is flagged for holding at the A-37. When the ball is declared dead, the game clock reads 1:47.

b. Team B may decline offsetting fouls to keep the ball following completion of the clipping penalty.
c. When the ball is ready to be snapped for the next play, the play clock will have started counting down from 40 seconds.

18. Second and three at the B-30. A12's pass is incomplete. B80 was in the neutral zone (no contact) at the snap.
a. First and 10 for Team A at the B-25. Clock starts on the ready.
b. First and 10 for Team A at the B-25. Clock starts on the snap.

19. Fourth and 10 at the A-40. B23 catches the punt at the B-17 and carries the ball to the B-21 where he fumbles. During the fumble B92 holds A46 at the B-18. A37 recovers the ball at the B-20 and returns it across Team B's goal line.
a. The penalty is enforced at the previous spot and the down replayed.
b. The touchdown counts and the holding penalty is carried over to the try or the kickoff.
c. The holding penalty is declined by rule and the touchdown counts.
d. The holding penalty is enforced at the spot of the foul and Team B retains possession.

20. Second and 20 at the B-30. Two seconds after releasing a forward pass A12 is tackled by B78 at the B-36, drawing a flag from the referee for roughing the passer. Eligible A80 catches the ball at the B-10, heads toward the sideline, and at the B-4 he fumbles the ball which strikes the goal-line pylon.
a. Second and five for Team A at the B-15.
b. First and 10 for Team A at the B-15.
c. First and Goal for Team A at the B-2.

21. Fourth and 12 at the A-45. During a punt that crosses the neutral zone, B65 blocks an opponent in the back at the B-35. B40 catches the punt at the B-30 and runs toward Team A's end zone. At the A-3 B40 fumbles the ball which strikes the goal-line pylon.
a. Team B's ball, first and 10 at the B-20.
b. Team A's ball, first and 10 at the B-45

22. Time in the fourth period expires when Team A scores a touchdown to make the score A23-B24. The kick try from the B-3 is successful. B62 roughs the kicker. Team A could accept the penalty and replay the try but elects to accept the point.
