Red Sox return to scene of greatest sports triumph in my life
And in the life of anyone under the age of 87. Back to St Louis!

I have a feeling the outcome will NOT be the same for these three games as in late 2004. :)

Pitchers hit and no DH. It's always fun to see Big Papi play first base.

Enjoy!

1. That should be a good series
Truth be told, we're going back to a world series spot too, to Pittsburgh, where my memories arent so fond baseball wise but very fond football wise well with the exception of the AFC Championship game but I guess football is like baseball for me, though we are the New England teams rival, I have a hard time hating or even disliking them. But for this series, I hope the Cards get revenge, and I know you are hoping the Bucs sweep us so its natural. I really expect that to be a great series.
It should be the best interleague series this part of the week. I think we're playing the Cards too.

4. Well they were coming off a great triumph but I was disappointed
I wanted it to go to 7 games and I was conflicted on who to root for, since the Cards are one of my favorite NL teams and the Sox honestly even though they're a division rival are my favorite AL team after the Birds. Anyhow I hope you guys sweep them so we can beat up some pirates.

No shit, at least if they had fought it out to seven, or even won say 1 game, I wouldn't have had to hide my face for a month.

9. Actually
I thought When they came back from behind and took the ALCS from the Yankees was the greatest moment. I hate to say it but the way the Cards played (ouch) the WS was anti-climatic in comparison.

10. I was glad to see the St. Louis fans give Edgar Renteria a
nice welcome (afetr a few boos ;)) -- I think that's a classy move by fans to do.

I saw the Boston fans give Orlando Cabrera a standing ovation on his first at bat back at Fenway Friday when the Angels were in town, and a nice hand for each of the games he played. It's good to see fans appreciate the efforts of players, past and present whatever city it's in.
