We're #1! Lions set record with 25th straight loss on the road.
Breaking their own record of 24, set this year and in 2001-2003.

This time they went down to the stinkin' 0-8 (now 1-8) Bills.

Is America ready for another indigestible Thanksgiving Day blowout of the Lions, this time courtesy of the Patriots? Because it's coming.

Been a Lions' fan for nearly 50 years, and they have always stunk. The Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings have won multiple championships in that time.

The Lions have won one playoff game - one - since 1957. Pass the stuffing. Nothing says turkey like the Lions on Thanksgiving.

1. If they had Stafford

They would of had a greater shot. Ryan Fitzpatrick is better QB than any back-up Detroit has, also if you consider Buffalo's pass defense which is really good. Buffalo had the better chance to win.

I see Detroit as an improving team. I think in a couple years they will be pretty solid.

2. Maybe, but I have hoped for better for half a century.
Geez, even your Cardinals have been to the Super Bowl, and the Saints won it last year.

The Lions will never get there, and I don't mean just in my or my daughter's lifetimes. I mean ever. They will probably never again make the playoffs in my lifetime, either.

5. I'm a die hard Lions fan
I grew up within walking distance of the Silverdome. My friends and i would ride our bikes up to the Silverdome during training camp and watch the Lions practice. My grandfather had season tickets and would take me to all the pre-season games (he would take his buddies to the regular season games). I remember Barry Sanders would never sign our autographs but he would shake the hands of every fan in line when they were coming off the practice field. Eddie Murray was always the last one off the practice field, he would sign every autograph and talk to every fan. I'm a Lions fan til the day i die, it's in my blood.

6. Me. too. I go back even further.
I was 11 when my late uncle began taking me to the Thanksgiving Day game every year at Tiger Stadium in 1962 when we crushed the Packers. Vince Lombardi wanted out of being our annual rivals at that game after that beatdown. I remember Harry Gilmer, Joe Don Looney and Milt Plum. My favorites as a kid were Alex Karras and Joe Schmidt. And later, Barry, of course. When it's all over, I will still be a Lions fan, recalling Fat Bob the Plumber singing "Forward Down the Field," and Van Patrick calling the games.

I know they will break my heart every year, but so be it - I'm a Lions' fan, period. So I guess that makes both of us nuts.

7. Gotta say, it's nice to see a Lion's fan
Really. They have been lousy for a long time and it is rare to see anyone rooting for the Lions. At least around here. But then, I'm a Cubs fan and our futility is worse. Wait 'til next year, er, two years, er, someday!

8. I remember one year the Lions ran the table at home
but lost every single game on the road, finished 8-8, and missed the playoffs. Ouch.
