Toronto Blue Jays. Where would you move them
We finally put the Expos (Nationals Back in the USA where they can be appreciated. If it were up to you, who would get the Jays?

I say Vegas

3. Would that mean another indoor stadium?
You couldn't play baseball outdoors there most of the summer, could you?

10. In Vegas they'd probably schedule the games at 2 a.m. and
let folks bet on balls and strikes. The hookers could rent skyboxes and give a whole new meaning to the seventh inning stretch.

Triple A for the Padres.

The crowd chants "We love our Beavers" at the games. Seriously.

their spring training here and when they play "Oh Canada" the crowd knows the words because most of them are from there.

11. But "our" Expos were appreciated!
It's just that we don't have enough dough to pay all these "lazy" millionaires who never had enough millions to play with a little ball.

Yes, my friends and I do miss our Expos (circa 1994, I mean... Ah! Yeah... That was the damn year they were the best team of both major leagues.... with record attendence at each local game... they were on their way to clinch the world series with their eyes closed... they were pretty much appreciated then, I tell ya!... Yikes! Bummer: they walked out on strike in mid-August, 6 games in front of Atlanta... The little millionaires screwed us up as they cried for more millions... F**k them: they s**k...).

We root for the Dodgers here (Cy Young trophee winner Eric Gagne is from over here, somewhere...) ;)

Blue Jays? Their owner, Rodgers Inc. is in the red (at the bank)...

Shouldn't be very long before they'll move out.

Good riddance, million dollar babies...LOL

that the Blue Jays aren't appreciated in Toronto. During the World Series years, they broke all manner of attendance records.

23. But what major American market...
that can support a baseball team is left. Las Vegas? It's the fastest growing city, but it's still a relatively small market, plus it's filled with transplants and temporaries, not a good formula for MLB success (witness the Marlins' paltry attendance). Toronto, even though hockey might be its sport of choice, is a well-heeled market of about 6 million.

22. Why would they move? Expos just didn't have the fan base. Are the
Jays doing so bad? I would think they just inherited more ex- expo fans.

24. Nah the jays are doing fine
struggling a little the last few games but I think they can win 85 games this year and will be better than the Yankees who if anyone cares are losing in Milwaukee.

If you wanna move the Jays based on attendance, then there are several other teams that should be moved first.

Sounds like a stupid fucking idea.

The fact that they are in Canada. I think it is a great Idea , although if I was a baseball fan in Toronto like yourself, I would say it was a stupid idea also I suppose.

34. No-Fucking-Where.
Piss ass questions can be moved to the trash though.

The strike in 1994 killed the Expos, not the fact that they were in Canada. You're just as bad as the hockey fans that want to cut the league back to the Original Six, like there would be some kind of glory by "getting them out of where they don't belong".

"It's mine all mine, and you can't have any" mentality.
