4. Sure Condem
The division standings speak for themselves. 49ers may have lost their first 5, but they're still in the hunt for the division title..

And Troy Smith might just be the answer. He throw for the most passing yards of any Niner QB since 2004.

Hey, I see where the Big Ten has some stupid rule, which in the case of a tie at season's end atop the standings, the team ranked highest in the BCS gets the title. Head to head doesn't matter.

That means, if OSU and Wisconsin tied, the Buckeyes could get the nod over the Badgers despite having lost to them. What kind of crap is that? Didn't we already have a similar problem involving OU and Texas in the Big 12 a few years back?

6. Jebus, the Niners really suck.
Speaking of Jebus, what's with the huge wooden cross hanging around Singletary's neck on the sidelines? What an huge asshole. I hope he gets fined by the league for it. Also, the Niners are 3-6.

7. Sure..they have problems
but the Niners have won 3 out of 4 and are only 2 games out of first place after starting 0-5. And who cares what's hanging around Singletary's neck? Belicheck ain't no prize.

8. Well, one thing we know for sure is that an NFC wildcard team...
Edited on Mon Nov-15-10 08:20 AM by trotsky
should have no trouble whatsoever pulling off a road win against the NFC West winner this year.

9. Maybe
but "no trouble"? NFC South is likely to send two teams to the playoffs and the Rams came mighty close to defeating Tampa Bay on the road. It all depends on the match-ups. I will say from top-to-bottom the NFC West is better than last year. The Rams and Seahawks are much better teams, Mike Williams is a great addition for them. Good size with crazy strong hands. I know Arizona is not as good but they are virtually the same team except without Boldin or Warner. Everyone else they found an adequate replacement. They are a very good team when they are not shooting themselves in the foot and they are getting OK QB play. If Anderson is making completions they are a pretty good team. One thing though, Dockett, Breaston, and Wells have to be on the field for them to be good. Only all 3 have been on the field in 1 game this season.

11. Check your history.
The NFC West has been in 2 of the last 5 SB's.

12. Last season is history in the NFL.
This season pretty clearly shows the NFC West is Least.

10. Only 3 back of the 'Hawks.
(tiebreaker)

Tampa
Arizona X 2
Green Bay
Seattle
San Diego
St. Louis

Best case: Must go 5-2
Worst case: Must go 7-0

Think happy thoughts of next year.
