1. Rams need receivers
Danny Amendola is good but he doesn't have any speed to threaten people deep. A good possession receiver though. This was much like when St. Louis played Arizona in the 1st week of the season. Receivers were dropping Bradford's balls like crazy including a touchdown pass. Arizona was very lucky in that game and they were a much better overall team than they are now.

Also the Rams coach should of challenged that catch inside the 10.

5. Armendola was a great fantasy pick up this season
he was consistently in double digits. He handles the ball only less than Bradford and Jackson.

15. I was tired
Still am. I make all sorts of grammar errors I don't realize that I'm making when I'm tired.

2. First time in history a losiing team does it..
Both the Giants and the Bucs went 10-6 in the NFC and failed to make the playoffs, but the Seahawks go 7-9 and are in. I don't want to be a hypocrite and claim if it had been the 49ers I wouldn't have taken it, but this has to be an embarrassment for the NFL..

3. Seahawk fan here.
I agree, this is pathetic. I hope the Saints blow them out 42-3 or something next week.

6. This was bound to happen eventually...
It's not like it happens every year.

9. Who apparantly is a better coaching prospect
than a coach who just led his team to a 9-4 year, 51-21 victory in a Bowl Game and ACC Coach of the Year title.
College Football is a fucking mess, IMO.

11. They won their division.
And I don't think their chances of winning are much worse than some of the 10-6 teams.

12. This is always a risk with the expanded playoff systems we have
Teams get automatic qualifying bids to other tournaments all the time (NCAA, MLB playoffs) while teams with better records sit on the sidelines; it was bound to happen that one day a losing team would make it.

The Saints will annihilate them, and the injustice will be corrected.

16. and there was no way a 9-7 Cardinals team
would win a playoff game or heaven forbid, get to a SB. And there was no way a flawed New York Giants team could beat an undefeated Patriots team...Just sayin. I'm really convinced ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs in this day and age. Throw out the records.
